How to use the Multi-Workout Editor
Multi-Workout Editor loads your planned workouts and training plans from Intervals.icu so you can review and edit many at once. Training plans usually build progression across similar sessions: long runs get longer, and intervals gain reps or intensity. This tool lets you line those sessions up and edit them consistently.
How to use it
- Fetch your workouts and plans, then add the ones you want to tabs, such as Long Run, Intervals and Tempo.
- Edit names and descriptions on the cards. Changes are highlighted, and each card shows a diff before you save it back to Intervals.icu.
- In Week view, drag workouts between days to reschedule them.
- Save or restore your tabs as a CSV file. The AI Prompt Generator can create a training plan CSV in this format.
How it works: Fitness, Fatigue and Form
The chart can show the training load of the workouts in a tab as Fitness, Fatigue and Form. These come from the impulse-response model of training (Banister et al., 1975), in the form popularised by training-load software:
- Fitness (CTL): an exponentially weighted average of daily load with a 42-day time constant.
- Fatigue (ATL): the same, with a 7-day time constant.
- Form (TSB): Fitness minus Fatigue. Negative form means you're carrying fatigue, and rising form ahead of a race is a taper.
